The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)

    As you are aware, there were two drafts of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) bill:

    ** The original, all-inclusive ENDA bill, HR 2015, and

    ** a transgender-excluding version (HR 3685).

    The latter (trans-excluding version) was introduced by gay (but, transgender-hating) Representative Barney Frank, and championed and lauded by the traitorous back-stabbing Human Rights Campaign (HRC).

    UPDATE: The transgender-excluding ENDA HR 3685 bill was passed Wed. Nov. 07, 2006. Here is my response:

    How HRC Forced Passage of the Transgender-Excluding HR3685 Bill

    Here is some additional commentary, from myself and others, regarding this debacle. The similarity of these comments reflects the unity in our thoughts and actions, our disappointment in those who seek to diminish us, and an assessment of the positive outcomes, a well as some thoughts regarding "What now?" As many have realized / stated all along, ENDA (HR 3685) was chapter in a larger struggle for recognition and tolerance (acceptance is another issue).
