    Welcome to Victoria's Journal !

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

    Reinhold Neibuhr, 1943

I have always been especially fond of the following passage, which is applicable to so many aspects of life, and seems appropriate, even here:

When I was a child, I spake as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away
childish things. For now we see through a
glass, darkly; but then face to face: now
I know in part; but then shall I know even
      as also I am known.

    1 Corinthians 13, verse 11

    Introduction - Jan. 2007

Hello and welcome to my online Journal ! I thought that some of you might find some of this at least moderately interesting, and perhaps even useful, at times!   As I am presently 'closeted,' I have restricted these writings to the rather mundane details relating to my transgender 'journey.'   As part of my psychotherapy, however, I have been collecting a more personal, thoughtful record of my progression, that I may post, one day.   Until then, please enjoy the following ...   Hugs, Victoria :-)
