Customer Rated
Store Reviews |
http://www.photo.net/neighbor/one-subcategory?id=2 Before you give any camera store your credit card number check with Photo.net's Neighbour to Neighbour and find out if they are on the up and up. If a store is not listed here, be very wary - be very very wary. Many "new" stores are the same old rip-off artists operating under a different name to sidestep a really nasty reputation. |

Photographic
Mail Order Survey |
http://www.cmpsolv.com/los/pmos.shtml The Camera Store Mail Order Survey is presented in table form. You can look up a retailer faster than through photo.net, but you don't really get the flavour of the various rip off operations through reading a spreadsheet. The results pretty much agree with photo.net and most posters on the rec.photo forums. |

http://imagining3d.home.attbi.com Matt Clara designed The Camera-ist's Manifesto. His own site is one of the most gracefully presented I have ever seen. The photographs are strong and clean, especially the B/W landscapes, and he has included some of his 3D work. |
