Please read the Fudge disclaimer.

I have been playing this great role-playing game system called Fudge. This game is simple to play and easily moderated by a referee. The game is also easily modified to support any setting you want. You are encouraged to develop your own rules to fit what you need. As with other GMs playing Fudge, I have to try to tinker with the rules and settings. Here are some of my ideas, with more to come soon.....

My Own Works

My first work for Fudge is my Highlander setting. This page contains all the info a GM would need to run a Highlander campaign, similar to the show and the movies.

Here, you will find some of the characters that I have developed for use in various campaigns. Sometimes, half the fun of the game is in the character creation.

I have developed a set of Fudge rules for quick non player character generation. This addition could also be used to develop a personality for a player character, too.

Necromancy can be a fun spell set to have in a campaign. Here are my rules for using them, including a spell list.

I've created a Fudge Gamemaster screen. It's designed to be printed out and glued to the back of manila folders (or anything 8 1/2 by 11 inches) as an inexpensive referee screen. Since different game masters use different tables in Fudge, I tried to make it as much mix-and-match as possible. You can use any sheets you need as your screen. I have even included 3 panels that can be used on the front of the screen (the Fudge levels for players to see, "Just Fudge It!", and the "rule" of gamemasters...). This file is in Adobe 3.0 format.

I have also included the same Gamemaster screen in Microsoft Word 2000 format.

I now have Fudge Cards available (in Adobe PDF format). These 81 cards can be used in Fudge games for a variety of reasons. I wanted these cards to be as flexible as possible. They can be used to simulate the roll of Fudge dice (single and 4dF), D6, and D10. There are a lot of ways that these can be used and hopefully they will provide an option to referees for their games. NEW! One possible way of playing Fudge with them is found in these rules

Each card has 5 entries on them:

Range of -4 to +4 These simulate the correct probability of Fudge dice.
+/-/0 These can be used to simulate a single Fudge die.
Range of levels from Terrible to Superb For use if you need a random level.
D6 result For use instead of a 6 sided die.
D10 result For use instead of a 10 sided die.

I've developed a list of as many weapons as I could find and translated their damage into Fudge. I've used the default weapon damage system as my baseline for determining damage. I've also categorized them by genre and type of damage, in case you want to use that information with your damage system. This should provide a good reference for referees who want to use these weapons in their games.

Bada Bing! Bada Bang! Do you like the mobster movies? Here's your chance to get a "piece of the action"! Fudge: Mobsters gives you the chance to play in the dirty underworld of crime families. Keep your eyes open and look out for other families trying to take over your territory.

Fudge Resources

The creator of Fudge, Steffan O'Sullivan, has a personal web site that contains just about everything you need to start playing, including some interesting rules from other players and GMs.

And while we're at it, Grey Ghost Games is the company that produces Fudge.

For some great articles and ideas about using Fudge, be sure to check out Fudge Factor. This is a monthly e-zine that contains anything from ideas of how to run a Fudge game, variations of the rules, using or making Fudge dice, Fudge magic systems, to just about anything else Fudge related. Issues are also archived so you can go back and reread the ones you missed. New!

If you are refereeing a Fudge game, then you might want to check out Irony Games. They have excellent resources for GMs, including dungeons, outdoor maps, space maps, adventure creation, and an online dice roller. They also have a dice roller that can be used for PBeM games (which Fudge can be adapted to...).

Some of my current and future projects include:

Please keep an eye out for them, and any others that come rolling out of my demented thoughts.
