note 1: During the 1997 draft the Eagles traded their pick in the
        first round (22 overall) to the Dallas Cowboys for their pick
        in the first round (25 overall) and their pick in the 5th round
        (155 overall and the Cowboys 3rd round pick (70 overall) in the
        1998 draft.

note 2: During the 1998 free agency period the Eagles traded round 2,
        pick 10 (41 overall) and round 5, pick 11 (134 overall) in the
        1998 draft to the NY Jets for defensive end Hugh Douglas.

note 3: Prior to the 1998 NFL Draft, the NFL awarded the Eagles two
        compensation picks at in the 7th round for net loss of free
        agents in 1997.

note 4: During the 1998 draft the Eagles traded the third round pick
