This list contains addresses and number for companies or people that provide
woodturning supplies or services. I will not be responsible for your experience
at any of them. Most people must mail-order supplies since they aren't normally
available at the local home center or hardware store.
If the I have used the companies, I will try to state that in the list. Note that
service and owners, etc. can change, so ask in your area if anyone has ordered
from them. Most business people are honest, hard working people who care about the
service they provide. Most people can have bad days so keep that in mind before
you call them and go mental.

Ordering wood by mail isn't my idea of a great time. I like to peruse the old dusty warehouses and log yards for my stuff. Unfortunately, they don't have an exotic lumber yard near me. The best way from I40 is to go to the airport exit west of Greensboro (NC 68?) and go North. This goes right into 220 and you miss all the city traffic and stoplights.
