This beautiful 3 bedroom / 2 bath lake house is nestled in one of Lake Gaston's most wonderful coves. Lake Gaston is on the North Carolina and Virginia border and is less than two hours from the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina and the Richmond area of Virginia. This huge lake offers 352 miles of shoreline covering 20,300 acres for some of the greatest fishing and water sports around. Lake Gaston's mild climate attracts many visitors with an average summer temperature of 76.5 degrees.

Many people come to Lake Gaston just to get away from it all and some visit the lake for its legendary fishing. Game fish include striped bass or rockfish, largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, and several varieties of catfish. Walleye, yellow perch and chain pickerel are caught less frequently. For the boating enthusiast, motor boating and water skiing are the most popular water sports, although jet skiing is gaining in popularity.

Although a boat is not provided, there are a few marinas at Lake Gaston that rent them. Check with Eaton's Ferry Marina (252-586-4661) or Poplar Creek Marine (804-636-2175) for boat/jet ski rentals. A boat launch is located near by to launch a boat that you would bring.
