This journey started almost by accident.

One lucky day, while surfing the net, just following links wherever they went, I happened upon a site by a Towboat Pilot named Adam Graser, from Houston Texas.

Having spent time on the Mississippi River myself, first as a deckhand on Exxon owned tows, then on a 67ft crewboat, eventually piloting that boat for Conoco Oil, his site held great interest for me.

Unfortunately his link to Stevenson Projects didn't work, but with a little searching I found it, and was immediately captivated by The Weekenders beauty and simplicity of design, and the passion of it's builders!
