Yahoo Games Java Based, no plugin required, board is displayed upside down, no means for saving played games or flipping the board over.
PlaySite Accelerator available for IE users, but not required. Nice graphics. Not typically busy on the othello lobby.

Nethello World Site is mostly in Japanese. Instructions for setting up an account for yourself and logging in are here, but most chatting onsite is in Japanese.

It's Your Turn Moves are made over the course of days, Tournaments available, Discussion boards for posting questions and game analyses on, etc. Small fee to play more than twenty games at a time (which is possible on turn based systems).

We don't generally attempt to prejudice towards one site or another, but we will this time (you need to be prepared). With the exception of the US site (which does not exist yet), all the national sites had numerous non-existent links. We are going to TRY to provide links to whatever resources we can. US Othello Association This is the new "Official" site of the USOA. Works only with Internet Explorer (Netscape will not display the menus).
British Othello Federation The Official website of the British Othello Federation. Site has a shopping cart, so that anybody can join the BOF online with a credit card, and can order the instructional book Othello: Brief & Basic online as well. (British residents need not order the book, it is included free when you join the BOF).
Australian Othello Frderation The official website of the Australian Othello Federation. Links to WOC back to 1997, articles definitely have an Australian slant
Dansk Othello Forbund Official site of the Danish Othello Association. This was the site of the 2000 World Othello Championships.
