Tillandsia disticha
Tillandsia disticha has the bulbous base typical of myrmecophytic tillandsias. This cultivated specimen is grown outdoors in Malaysia where it is inhabited by local ants. Plant grown and photographed by Wilson H. P. Chua, Sarawak, East Malaysia (hpchua@mardi.my).
