Lecanopteris hybrid

A couple of years ago, I sent a batch of Lecanopteris mirabilis spores to Charles Alford, and he kindly sent me back a small division of this unusual fern that popped up among the L. mirabilis sporelings. It has scattered scales inherited from its L. mirabilis parent, but the overall appearance owes more to the second parent. The identity of the second parent is uncertain, but it must be either L. luzonensis or L. curtisii, both of which grow near the L. mirabilis mother plant in my greenhouse.
