What's New?
12 Aug 07: Much delayed updateA few new bits. I bought a new tank, a Panther. I hope to have it built sometime in Sep. The club has done well and won the last two RCACN competition battles. Some updates in the tanks section and new links.
21 Oct 06: New website and Brainvox update
My tank club as a new website, check it out: www.heatarmor.com. Also, Brainvox has a scripting language and Analyze/Nitfi-1 support.
23 Jul 06: Progress on the VBT and Brainvox
No big content changes, but two projects have made some interesting strides. First, we have not successully installed a VBT 2.0 into a Futaba 75Mhz 6 channel radio. See comments on the VBT page. Second, Brainvox 3.10 is now out. See comments in the Brainvox section. Working on some new tank circuits that I hope to have ready before the September battledays.
22 Apr 06: VBT 2.0 writeup and a new Brain
I finally wrote up some docs on the VBT 2.0 (uses the BS2 chip). I have a new version running directly on a raw PIC chip now. I am working on some new interfaces to ZigBee chips and ADC/DAC interfaces. Very cool stuff. I just got back a solid model of a brain. Check it out!.
13 Mar 06: VBT 2.0 is working and RF chips
The VBT 2.0 is working well now and I have a new lead on cool RF chips.
27 Feb 06: Everything...
This is the first version of these pages I have made public. I hope you find something useful or interesting here.
Why "My Left Goat"?
Why
not?
My Left Goat is one of the handles I use for online gaming.
Besides, are you likely to forget it? I think not. Anyway,
these days, a lot of Call of Duty and Battlefield 2. I'm
looking into a little TA
Spring as well. You can find me playing as "MyLeftGoat" or
more commonly as "frogboots". You can catch me on xfire if you want to
play some time as "frogboots". I play all manner of FPS and RTS games.
I'm not a big platformer fan.
The
real purpose
You will find that these web pages are pretty much repos for various
projects I have worked on over the years. I got a little tired of
answering email requests for this file and that. Hopefully, most folks
can find the files they are looking for on this site. If there is
anything else you would like to see or even that you just like on the
site, drop me a line. I'd
love to hear from you.
