Interior, trim, hydraulics, fuel lines, wiring harness, and engine ancillary equipment has been removed. Now it's ready for a trailer ride to the restoration facility for body, paint, and a suspension rebuild. The engine had been rebuilt prior to storage, so was left in the car to keep the frame properly 'warped' during body work and painting. The engine and transmission will be removed to spray the engine bay and underside of the chassis, but will be reinstalled prior to painting the body. This should ensure proper door and body panel alignment, since the weight of the engine will flex the chassis. Hopefully, there will be a few pictures of the progress next month.
