We are proud to announce that we have finished recording and mastering our debut CD! While we shop it around to labels and press, we are offering you, our website friends, a chance to get it NOW before its official release. Each CD will be burned at 2X speed with loving care by an X-Rayon and will have a custom, limited cover for this special pre-release.

The CD features twelve tracks recorded at Mitch Easter's new Fidelitorium studio in Kernersville, NC this past summer. Mitch plays Chamberlin (a mini-Mellotron) on one track and another famous producer/engineer, Wes Lachot, plays Hammond B-3 organ on a track.

Our debut showcases the X-Rayons best tunes in our patented atmos-surf vein as well as some melodic lounge-jazz juxtaposed against some balls-to-the-wall rock. Rounding out the sound we have Tony and Brunson playing all sorts of neat percussion, Steve & Mike added some baritone guitar and both Steve & Brunson have layered many electric and acoustic guitars on several tracks to give the release a more 3D and fleshed-out sound. Make no mistake though, it's still the twangy, surfy guitar fun you know and hopefully dig!
