Erin and Paul have been together for over 16 years now and married for 11. Our love for each
other is based on communication, respect and a healthy sense of humor. We believe that when we talk to one another and respect each other's
feelings, our love grows stronger. We were delighted when our son, Caleb, was born 4 years ago.
We have always played a game with Caleb called, "Who loves ya, Kid?"
The object of the game is to demonstrate to Caleb about love and family.
We made him a photo album with pictures of all the people in his family.
Even before he could talk We started looking through it with him, pointing out various members of the family and telling him, "yes, Mama loves you," while pointing to a picture of Erin.
We do this with every picture of every member of our family. Caleb not only learned very quickly to associate names with faces, but he also learned about the concept of family love and he grows every day with the confidence of knowing who loves him and the support that means.
We can't wait to start this game again with another child one day and to add your photos to the album. |
