April 16, 1992 - September 18, 2001
Jeffrey died unexpectedly, exactly one week after 9-11.
We will always miss him.

We found Honey with PetFinder. There are many good pure-bred dogs that need homes. If you want a Cocker Spaniel (or another breed) for a pet, please check the shelters before buying from a breeder. Also be aware that, despite their cuteness, Cockers can get nervous around small exciteable childern, and may try to bite.

Christmas 1999

Jeffrey was not only cute, loyal, and lovable, but extremely intelligent as well. He loved Christmas, and knew that everyone would get presents including him. He was well behaved enough to leave presents alone under the tree. Christmas of 1999, we put his presents out without hom seeing them. In the morning, he saw them and realized they were his. He retreived his presents one at a time, by himself, and opened them without opening any of ours. He could identify them mainly because we used one paper for only his presents. A very good example of intelligence, and good behaviour.
