Are You a Temporary Foster Home?

Sometimes adoption applicants take a chance on a shelter dog with an unknown history. I may let you know about a dog in a shelter and you have the option to go directly to the shelter and adopt it without going through the ESRA adoption contract or the adoption fee.  We appreciate you getting the dog out of a stressfull situation and giving him/her a chance!  Sometimes the dog turns out not to be what you were looking for in a Springer.  In that case, you let me know, and we will log the dog into the ESRA foster system and you can be the temporary foster parent(s).

You need to fill in a Foster Application on-line at the website.  If you've recently applied, you do not have to supply great detail on the application as much of it is already on your adoption application and we are already acquainted. BEFORE you click the button at the bottom to send the form, please PRINT OUT A COPY and sign it!  ESRA is an official non-profit group which retains insurance. We need you to sign the form due to liability issues and I keep a hard copy in the state.   You need to mail it to: Kathy Patterson, 2205 Lansdale Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278
