What does the coordinator do?

Besides pull my hair out on bad days? I juggle all this stuff and happily spend lots of hours on my computer.

Once I get the description and picture from you of your new foster guest, I submit the listing to the website. Either you or I will reply to initial inquiries. When someone submits an application and mentions interest in your foster dog, I will let you know by email. Then I'll talk to them by phone. Sometimes people inquiring about a foster dog are NOT a good match. (i.e. They already have a dog and the foster dog needs to be an "only dog.") If it looks good, I'll forward their application for your review and give them your phone number. I won't give your number to every person who inquires--just the potentially good ones! In the meantime, I continue the screening process with a vet check and scheduling a home visit if possible.  If you and I both think it's a good match and they will make a good home for the Springer, I will officially offer them the dog. Then you and I work on arranging the transport.

Along the way, I'm always available to answer any questions!
