Please take some time to visit Justin's angel friends and honor their memories. I have cried as I have read their stories. It is sad that so many parents have had to endure the loss of a child. The loss of a child is one of the hardest deaths to grieve. It's not just the loss of the present, but also the loss of the future and all of the hopes and dreams that we had for our children.
Everyday I think about how Justin is not with us. I will for the rest of my life. This is not something that will go away. It's not something that we will ever "get over". Justin is and always will be a part of Rob and me. Each day is a challenge. Each day is another day that we learn to live without Justin. We will miss him forever.
To the parents, especially the moms that I have gotten to know online, that have lost these precious children... You have helped me tremendously during this incredibly difficult time in my life. You are the only ones that can truly understand what it's like to lose a child. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I am so sorry that we had to meet under these circumstances. But I am also eternally grateful for all that you have done for me. I only hope that I can help you as much as you have helped me, as we continue on this journey...
