Dear Friendship Member:

It is my favorite time of year again!  The annual mission conference at Friendship is the highlight of the year.  The dates for this year’s conference are April 2 – 6, 2008.

Four missionary appointees with their families as well as six of our veteran missionary families will be with us for the entire conference.  These choice servants of the Lord will just “grow” on you during this time.  Please make sure that you get to know them and sense their deep burden.  Then you will remember to pray for them long after they are gone.

“Praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ.”

We want to focus on the greatness of the “Lord of the harvest” and not just the whitened harvest fields.  That’s why we chose as this year’s theme “Praying God Will Open Doors” from Col. 4:2-4.  It is so exciting to watch God work in answer to this prayer!  “The Word of God is not bound” (2 Tim. 2:9).

Dr. John Halsey, International Representative for BIMI, and veteran pastor of a great mission-minded church, will be our keynote speaker.  He will challenge us from the Scriptures to trust God to do greater things for Him than we ever thought possible.  We are believing God to supply through us $350,000 for the cause of worldwide evangelization in the next twelve months.
