The policies listed below apply to all regardless of length of stay.
Note: We do not rent for the season, for prom week or for senior week
- CHECK IN
- Check in between 2:30 and 3:30 PM on Saturday. *
- The address is 407 East 16th Ave, North Wildwood.
- You get your keys from us. We are on the 2nd floor.

- * If you must check in later, tell us so that we can arrange to be there
when you arrive.

- CHECK OUT
- Check out time is 10:00 AM on Saturday.

- CANCELLATIONS
- In the event of a cancellation for any reason, you forfeit any money that
has been paid towards the rental, excluding the refundable security
deposit. If we are able to re-rent the property during a cancellation
period at no loss of revenue, we will return all deposits with the
exception of a $150 administrative rebooking fee. However, should the unit
book for a lesser amount than was originally contracted for, you will be
responsible for the difference in booking fees.
- We strongly encourage you to obtain travel insurance to protect
against an event where you may need to cancel your reservation.
- You may check InsureMyTrip.com. It is
a site at which you can compare travel insurance rates from several insurers.

- SUB-LEASING
- Absolutely no sub-leasing. The property is to be used as a vacation
residence ONLY, and for the exclusive use of registered tenants ONLY.

- MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
- This unit is limited to a maximum of eight people, including children.
- More than eight is NOT permitted.
- Exceeding the maximum occupancy is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture
- of all fees and deposits.

- TRASH and RECYCLING
- Trash pick up is Monday and Thursday mornings.
- Recycle pick up is Thursday morning.

- Please read the local Trash/Recycle rules located in your unit and pay attention
to the special rules that apply. Trash/recycles are taken very seriously in
North Wildwood and people are fined hundreds of dollars if they put recycling
into the trash. Please note that as trash day is not Saturday, there may
be some trash left by the previous guest in the cans out back just as you may
do at the end of your stay.

- Here are guidelines for trash and recycling that you MUST follow:

- Recycle glass, plastic, and cans. Please use the plastic trashcan labeled RECYCLES in the unit
- Place the contents into the Recycle Trash Can out back
- Cans, bottles, and plastic only in the recycle can. Takeout food containers are NOT considered recyclables
- Use plastic trash bags that are provided to line the trashcans in the unit (not the Recycle can)
- Bundle newspapers together in the provided brown paper bags. Put them out in the paper bag
- Put all trash in plastic bags and tie the bags tightly before being putting them into the trashcans out back
- When placing trash and recycling cans out for pickup, you MUST have a tightly secured lid on all containers
- When putting out newspaper bundles in a brown bag for pickup, place them on the ground near the trashcan
- Please note that the trash laws in North Wildwood are very strict and violations result in fines
- Trash law fines are payed by the renter
- Trash/recycle cans cannot be placed out front before 5:00 PM the night before trash/recycle pick up
- Trash/recycle cans must be removed from the curb and placed out back within an hour of pick up

- CLEANLINESS
- We take great pride and care in preparing our units for your stay (includes
porches too). We spend countless hours making certain everything is clean,
in good working condition, and available for your use and enjoyment. In
that regard, we expect our renters to return our unit to us upon their
departure in the same or better/cleaner condition than when they checked
in. See our Cleaning Instructions in the unit for further details.
- Cleaning Checklist
- Clean bathroom tub, sink, floor toilet and mirrors.
- Check the vanity and medicine cabinet for forgotten items.
- Kitchen, remove all food, clean refrigerator/freezer, microwave (inside
and out) stovetop (including burner pans), counters, sink and floor.
Clean oven if needed.
- Vacuum bedrooms and living/dining room. If you moved furniture please
put it back where it was.
- Move all trash and recycling to the cans out back.
- Check cabinets, drawers and closets for forgotten items.
- Make sure gas grill racks are clean.

- If you do not wish to clean prior to check out, please let us know by
the last Tuesday of your stay and we will arrange for a cleaning service
to clean the unit upon your departure. The cost for the cleaning service
is $100 and it is due in cash on the last Tuesday of your stay. If you
choose this option we still expect the unit to be neat, straightened up,
trash and recycles taken out, and all of your personal items (including
food) to be removed from the unit. If you do not pay for the cleaning
option and you do not leave the unit as clean as when you checked in,
you will forfeit your security deposit.

- PARKING
- Parking is only allowed in the driveway. The police will ticket or tow
if you block the sidewalk. Do not park on the lawn. If you have more
cars than will fit in your driveway, find a parking space on the street
and park your least used cars there. There is adequate parking for 2 cars.

- WARNING: The North Wildwood Police patrol the area hourly.
- They look for incorrectly parked cars and are quick to ticket or tow.

- UTILITIES
- Please check when running the Central Air Conditioning that all windows
and doors are closed.
- Please turn off ceiling fans and lights when no one is home.

- NO SMOKING INSIDE
- We cater to the general public, both smokers and non-smokers and our place
is not rentable if it has been smoked in.
- We must insist that all smoking of any kind must be performed outside
- Under no circumstances is smoking permitted within the unit
- Smoking inside is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture
of all fees and deposits.

- NO ILLEGAL DRUGS
- Illegal drugs are not allowed in the unit at any time or for any reason
- Illegal drugs in the unit is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture
of all fees and deposits.

- NO CANDLES
- We do NOT allow lit candles inside the unit.

- MAILBOX
- The mailbox is the property of the owners. Any delivered mail should be
left for the owners to pick up.

- NO LOUD NOISES
- We realize that you are on vacation and want to have a great time, but
please keep the noise level to a socially acceptable level at all times.

- CIRCUIT BREAKERS
- The circuit breakers are located behind the bulletin board by the
breakfast bar.
- If you experience any problems, please inform us immediately.

- OUTSIDE
- PLEASE RINSE OFF SAND BEFORE ENTERING YOUR HOME
- Keeping sand out of the house is difficult and rinsing off makes a big
difference.
- The back yard has a shower and a hose where sand can be rinsed off.
- Sand chairs, umbrellas, fishing gear, strollers, bikes etc. are NOT
permitted in the house.

- BACK YARD
- The back yard has a gas grille, a table and chars with unbrella, a hot
and cold outside shower with a changing area and a clothes line.
We want you to enjoy the back yard but please keep it neat at all
times, hang clothes on the clothes line and not on the front railings.
Please turn off the gas feed for the grill when it is not in use

- NO PETS
- We must cater to the general public and cannot allow pets even if it is a
"hypo-allergenic" pet. It would not be fair for us to pick and
choose whose pet is or is not allowed. No pets are allowed in the
unit at any time.
- A pet is in the unit is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture of all
fees and deposits.
