	Don't forget to write! Well, it appears that some of our fellow Shadow Slayers seem to be growing bored or sick of Asheron's Call, yet many don't want to quit because of the friends we have made. So, in response to this, we have decided to maintain a sort of "Where are they now?" database. This will be an addition to the Contact Info we already have in place. On that same page we will now also be keeping a list of other multiplayer games that Shadow Slayers may be playing. This of course, is not necessarily limited to people who are leaving AC, but if you are leaving we would like you to submit your contact info and future gaming endeavors so that we can keep in touch! Hopefully, we can all make good use of this resource.

	We got a mansion! Oh yeh! We have joined the other elite clans of Dereth as we now have our own mansion! All Shadow Slayers can go to the mansion by typing @house mansion_recall in their chat window. It works as a great meeting place between allegiance members since everyone can easily get to it. The mansion requires a 10 Writ and 1,000,000 pyreal per month maintainence fee. This is a lot, but if everyone contributes a little it won't be a problem. You can help pay part of the maintainence by using the covenant crystal out front. Oh, and here's a pic!

	Contact Info page Some Shadow Slayers have expressed the desire to be able to contact each other out-of-game. So, we now have a contact info page. If you want to be listed on this page, drop me an email. Participation is of course voluntary due to privacy issues, but we'd love to see as many people as possible up there. We will be listing ICQ, AOL IM, and MSN Messenger numbers/IDs. We will not be listing emails because it is too easy for people to send you junk mail when you do that. Singularity Weapons quest officially scheduled The Singularity weapons quest will be this coming Saturday. Be there! Check the message board for details.

	New Available/Wanted Items message board We now have a message board where people can post items they want or items they have available for other members. Everyone please read the first message on the message board entitled "Tada! Here's our new msg board!" before posting anything. Recommended Decal Plugins I've finally updated the Links page with a list of my recommended Decal plugins. If you have any other plugins not listed you would like to tell the world about, let me know!

	Allegiance Mixer and Meeting We will be having a mixer and meeting for all members of the allegiance on February 2 at 2pm EST. Everyone please plan to attend! Also, higher level characters are recommended to at least temporarily park their mules in the meeting hall to give out any items that you may want to get rid of.

	Preliminary About Us page I have been putting together an About Us page so that visitors may know what our allegiance is about and what we believe in. Take a look at it and let me know any comments or criticisms you have. Yes, we really are using the Quests/Events message board Well, we have a Quests board and we plan to make use of it so that our outings are a little more organized. There is a post on the Quests message board that everyone should read for details on how we plan to organize quests in the future. Singularity Weapons quest announced Quest the Mighty is organizing a group of people to go on the Singularity Weapons quest sometime in mid-February. Post a message on the quests board if you are interested. There are some pre-quest items you need to get. Contact Quest in-game or on the message board for details or help. Logain Ablarsun hits 50! Yet another landmark moment for a fellow shadow Slayer! Give him a congrats if you see him online!

	Decal 2 officially released Well, I've been pretty slack about putting any news up here lately, but here's a big one. They have finally made an official release of Decal 2 (i.e. - no longer just a "release candidate"). Go download it! It looks like there's not much different from Release Candidate 3 besides a bug fix. What exactly do we believe in? Well, we have had a request put in to add something to the website about some of the Shadow Slayers ideals and beliefs. So if you're a happy Shadow Slayer and think you can put what we stand for into words then drop me an email. I'll try and compile everything into a little page that potential recruits can look at to get a better idea of what it is to be a Shadow Slayer.

	Another Monster Monitor Installation For those of you that have wanted to try out the Monster Monitor plugin but have been unable to get it to install properly, give it one more shot. The plugin itself has not changed for those that already have it, but I completely reworked the installation utility for it. The link on the plugin page is to this latest installation of the plugin.

	New Decal available For those of you who use Decal (and we do heartily recommend that all Shadow Slayers do. If for nothing else, then at least to keep our allegiance database updated), there is a new version with major changes available. It is currently classified as a "release candidate" which means that it is still not an officially supported release and may have a few bugs, but it is very close to being ready. I personally haven't encountered any problems with it. As for new features, most of the new stuff involves plugin development and so you won't be able to notice much unless you download a plugin that utilizes the new features. One excellent new plugin that requires this new version of Decal is called Nerfus Buffus. This plugin will automatically buff yourself according to a chosen profile and has a lot of cool features. It's my new favorite plugin! Anyway, enough raving, download Decal 2 Release Candidate 2!

	Problems with installing Monster Monitor Some of you people have offered to help me test out my Monster Monitor plugin and several of you seemed to be having installation problems. I have an idea of what the problem is. So all you need to do (I think) is upgrade your Internet Explorer browser (details and link on the plugin page) and then download and run the updated installation file. If that still doesn't fix things, drop me an email or message me in-game. Site Tracker If anyone is wondering what the little image on the sidebar is it is a usage tracker for this website. It counts page hits, tracks what kind of browsers and resolutions people use when visiting the site, etc. Anyone who is interested in the statistics can click on the image to see what kind of traffic we get.

	Weekly Quest(s) OK, we're definitely doing one, maybe two quests on Saturday depending on turnout and people's levels. We will definitely be going on the Simulacra Helm and Shield quests. These are great items for melee people and tradable items for non-melee. Depending on interest, we may be going out to do the Pyreal Singular Repository quest which is part of a long term quest that you can't complete until level 55+. The Pyrael Repository is the first of four parts to the quest each with different level restrictions. Check the calendar for more details!

	Shadow Slayers Allegiance Meeting This Saturday we will have a meeting at 6pm EST. Everyone in the allegiance is welcome to attend. We will meet new people and Samson will be emptying his mules for anyone that needs good stuff!

	Dark Majesty is upon us! The wait is almost over... Dark Majesty has officially shipped. In case you've been living under a rock, Dark Majesty is an expansion pack for Asheron's Call that will open up a new landmass as well as other features such as storage and housing. It should appear on store shelves sometime Friday. Retail price is $20 and includes a free month of play, so it's really only $10 for the new content. Everybody go out and buy it! Samson hits 50! Our illustrious monarch Samson the Shadow has hit level 50 and finally gets Life Magic! Yay! Hearty gratz go out to Samson. Message Board OK, our allegiance now has a message board which you can access from the link on the left sidebar. Everyone feel free to post thoughts, questions, ramblings, etc. This Weekend's Quests Samson will not be joining us on a quest this weekend so I, Khalid II, am appealing to everyone to let me know what kind of quest they want to do. There has been some interest expressed in doing the Simulacra Shield/Helm quest, so we will probably do that one. However, the level restriction is 25-40. For people that are lower level than that, please don't feel like you have to be high level to do quests. There are plenty of lower level quests that people can do. Just send me an email or message me in-game and let me know you want to do a quest and we'll put something together depending on what kind of response I get.

	Shadow Slayers HQ has moved! The Shadow Slayers as you may know were previously operating out of Eastham. We have moved our base of operations to Holtburg for several reasons. First, Eastham was not a town off hub and therefore always required a run to get to. Second, Eastham is not a starter town which hurt recruiting new players a bit. There was some other reasoning involved, but regardless, we have moved. Anyone that would like to park their characters at our allegiance mule spot should contact Samson The Shadow or Khalid II in game for its location. Allegiance Database online The Shadow Slayers are now using ACGM (Asheron's Call Guild Manager) to maintain an allegiance tree and stats/skill levels of everyone who participates. To make this allegiance database worthwhile, everyone should please set up your game to upload your statistics to our database. After an initial setup, your data will automatically be uploaded everytime you logon/logoff of AC, so there will be minimal effort on your part. For details on how to set this up, click the Allegiance Tree page. Also, this new database makes our Services page redundant for the most part. Most items listed under Services have been removed. However, we do still have a Quest Guides page for anyone who needs a quest guide or would like to volunteer their services as a quest guide.

The Shadow Slayers need your help! If any of your characters have any services that you would be willing to offer that may be useful to other allegiance members, please e-mail Khalid II. Check the services page to see what services we are offering. Quiddity Orb Quest posted Come join your fellow Shadow Slayers as we quest for the Quiddity Orb. The Shadow Slayers website goes online! The allegiance website is now live! There are many improvements coming soon and this will soon be THE place to find out what's going on with The Shadow Slayers. For right now we only have a few pages up but they should still be helpful. The calendar page is where you can find out about all upcoming meetings and other scheduled events such as quests. The services page is for finding someone in the allegiance that can help you with a particular task such as alchemy, or portal summoning. Finally, on the links page you will find links to other Asheron's Call websites and utilities that may be helpful to you.
