 Brys Chevelle is home to this BB Chevy L-88 powerplant. The rat is pretty much your standard L-88 balanced and blueprinted with all the goody Genuine GM parts. It takes a lot to feed a hungry rat and a Holley induction system gets the job done sending the charge to a factory GM union labor made set of iron heads where it gets squeezed by a set of forged Venolia slugs slung on the GM magnafluxed, polished and shot-peened ARP Prolock fastened rods swung by a GM forged, cross-drilled, and tufftrided steel shaft. Charge gets lit by MSD ignition. Competition Cams bumps the solid lifters and rocks the Manley valves. Hooker Headers scavenge the spent gases and Flowmaster muffles the exhaust. A manual valve bodied Turbo 400 slushbox harnesses the Rats fury sending it back to the factory 12 bolt Richmond geared positractioned differential to the 11" street rubber incineration. |
