Hello from Ben, Jennifer, Billy, and Jim...
We are the Ashley Stove band from Raleigh, NC. You can check the Merge Records Website if you want fancy-boy graphics, but if you want the REAL scoop, you've come the right place. This is all Stove, all the time! Lead guitar player and co-founder Matt Brown left the band in May, 2000, and he now has his own project called "My Codename is Blue". We asked Mike Kenlan to play with us (Mike played in Pipe and Small), and he recorded with us on our new record "All Summer Long." That CD was released on March 20, 2001, and we are mighty excited about it. It's available for purchase at the Merge website. Thanks to everyone who bought a copy...or is planning on it! Of course, most importantly, the mighty Jim Brantley has been burning up the fret boards with us since before our Spring Tour. He even moved to Raleigh! Wow. We are glad to have him in our fair City of Oaks.
