Well, with the passing of another year, and a new President prepared to lead us into 1996, I would like to pause for a moment, and thank Rick, KA3PSK, for his contribution over the last two years. There were some difficult times for Rick. You see, Rick does not like people to be dissatisfied... or unhappy. And when dealing with a group as large as RARS, there is enough variety of ideas, and difference of opinion, that often, individuals or groups are dissatisfied for one reason or another. Although he was uncomfortable with the responsibility from time to time, I have never known him to resolve any situation in anything other than a responsible manor. Rick, you have done well, and thanks for your ideas, leadership, and frienship.

Also I would like to thank the members of the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society for re-electing me to the position of Secretary. It is a job that I have enjoyed for the last two years, and look forward to serving you for the next two.
