Operation Lifesaver

Operation Lifesaver is a non-profit, international continuing public education program first established in 1972 to end collisions, deaths and injuries at places where roadways cross train tracks, and on railroad rights-of-way.  Operation Lifesaver programs are sponsored cooperatively by federal, state, and local government agencies; highway safety organizations, and the nation’s railroads.  Operation Lifesaver’s trained and certified volunteer speakers provide free safety presentations for various professions and for all age groups in order to increase public safety around railroad tracks. Educational brochures and videos, coloring books for children and training information can be found on this website.

CONTACT US to discuss an Operation Lifesaver event for your church/Scout/School/Civic group!

Model Railroad display

Our Model Railroad is generally open to the public in the evenings and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.  Our layout is currently under construction, so you have the opportunity to view model railroading at all the various stages of construction.  Contact us if you would like to schedule a time for the club to be open for you.
